How do I know if my anxiety is a problem?
Anxiety is a natural human response, it helps alert us to imminent danger. However, when your anxiety is constant - with obsessive thoughts, feelings of panic, trouble sleeping, heart palpitations, and cold or sweaty hands - keeping you from living the life you deserve, it’s important to get help.
Symptoms of anxiety:
- you worry excessively about work, family, money, health, school performance, or any other aspect of life
- you avoid situations or people out of fear of experiencing anxiety, panic, embarrassment, or failing to meet expectations
- you seek constant reassurance in relationships
- you find it difficult to complete tasks because of perfectionism or procrastination
- you struggle with specific phobias
Counselling for anxiety can help you uncover the causes of your worries and fears, allowing you to develop new, more positive ways of dealing with situations. Caroline will help you work through your anxiety, teaching you tools to learn how to relax and gain coping and problem-solving skills, allowing you to learn positive social skills. Gaining confidence to engage in social situations previously too difficult.

During your 50-minute session, Caroline will work with you toward addressing your current needs.
Confidentiality is of the utmost importance. Client identities and sessions' content, apart from certain legal situations outlined at the beginning of the initial session, are kept entirely private.
